Use the language your traders use
For a UK artisan market, “stallholder application”, “trader application” and “pitch application” can feel more natural than “vendor registration”. You can use both vendor and stallholder wording on your site, but the form itself should be consistent.
Recommended stallholder fields
- Trading name and named contact
- Email and mobile number
- Website / social account used for promotion
- What they intend to sell
- Product category
- Requested pitch size
- Whether they need electricity
- Food / drink status where relevant
- Public liability insurance information if your event requires it
- Vehicle, unloading or accessibility requirements
Do not hide the event basics
Put the event date, venue, trading hours, setup window, pitch fee and application deadline near the top. Applicants should not need to complete half the form before discovering that the date or cost does not work for them.
Keep the operations separate from legal terms
MarketVendorPack helps produce the operational documents around the event. It does not invent insurance clauses, waivers or contractual obligations. If you require specific declarations, use wording appropriate to your venue, local authority and event type.
After acceptance
Give every confirmed stallholder an allocation and clear arrival information. The same list should drive your welcome pack and check-in sheet, which is why MarketVendorPack keeps those outputs connected.
